Yukatas will add color to your summer memories, such as fireworks and summer festivals.
MIKI HOUSEThe yukata is raised by lifting shoulders and waists in advance.
It can be easily fixed by hand and can be used for a long time.
Here we will introduce you to the care you can take at home, such as yukata and Japanese accessories.
Care during the season
Once worn, dry in the shade
There is no need to wash it every time you wear it. Wet it with water and tap the dough with a hard-wrilled towel to remove any sweat and dry it in the shade.
If you're soaked in sweat, gently wash your hands and dry in the shade.
If you are soaked in sweat or noticeable dirt, We recommend washing. Wash your hands gently.

- Fold the yukata.
- Use a neutral detergent and press with plenty of water.
(Please follow the usage of each detergent for the amount of detergent.)
The key is to wash it efficiently and in a short amount of time. - Change water many times and gently press and wash to prevent any detergent from remaining.
- To dehydrate, fold the yukata, wrap it in a bath towel, and use the washing machine's dryer for 30 to 60 seconds.
The guideline is to dehydrate the water, but it doesn't wrinkle. - In a well-ventilated, shady area, tidy up and dry.
- Once it dries, apply a cloth and iron it on medium temperature.
You can also lightly apply it if you like.
Post-season care
If you are washing at home
This is the same method as shown during the season maintenance. Before storing, apply a cloth and lightly iron it.
You can also lightly apply it if you like.
If you want to take it out for a cleaning
It is also recommended to ask a dry cleaner at the end of the season. However, some dry cleaners may wash it together with other yukata (same color) and water.
MIKI HOUSEYukatas are processed to prevent color fading, but this may not be the case with other companies' products.
When sending it to a dry cleaner, it's safe to say it's "single item wash".
How to care for the obi
"Wrilled obi" and "Silk obi" cannot be washed with water. Only "sekiyu dry cleaning" is possible. Due to the traditional "tie-dyeing", if washed with water, the wripping will disappear.
In addition, the color may fade due to moisture or sweat.
Please be careful.

How to care for your clogs
Geta are delicate Japanese accessories. The thong can become significantly deformed when wet.
Avoid using or washing on rainy days.
To clean, wipe off any dirt by wiping it dry and store in a low-moisture location.
