MIKI HOUSESanki Shoko Co., Ltd., which develops brands (MIKI HOUSE: Yao City, Osaka Prefecture, Representative: Koichi Kimura) will promote initiatives for the ``Circular Economy'' by utilizing Kurabo Industries (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka, President: Haruya Fujita)'s ``L∞PLUS'' initiative, which reuses ``cutting waste'' generated during the sewing process as a resource, which was previously discarded.
The background to this initiative isMIKI HOUSEsells high-quality baby and children's products that are MADE IN JAPAN, and can be assembled in Japan to make effective use of waste resources.
We are reusing items that were previously disposed of as industrial waste at a cost in domestic garment factories.MIKI HOUSEWe believe that creating new high-quality products using recycled cotton from high-quality materials will lead to efforts to reduce waste and conserve resources.
Initially, we will manufacture mini towels as a trial run, and we will expand the circle of sustainable initiatives by having many people participate in this initiative while experiencing the quality. It is intended to be distributed to participants at events and events sponsored by our company, and we will continue to make further improvements based on feedback from everyone who has distributed it.MIKI HOUSEWe will continue our efforts with a view to selling them as gift towels.
"L∞PLUS" is a recycling technology system developed by Kurabo Industries based on the concept of "better" born from "mottainai".
By collaborating with the sewing process, the "cutting waste" discharged from garment factories is separated and collected into the same composition and color, opened and curled, twisted into threads, and recycled as raw materials for various textile products. By doing so, the waste is recycled into clothing and other textile products as valuable secondary distribution products. Aiming for permanent environmental conservation rather than traditional mass consumption values
This is an upcycling platform for creating a recycling-oriented society.
