Born in Tokyo in 1969. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Faculty of Sculpture.
In 1996, she made her picture book debut in "Furo" (Gakken).
Bolonya International Picture Book Original World Picture Exhibition, Bratislava World Picture Book Original Picture Exhibition Grand Prix. The Japan Painting Award Grand Prize at "Masha and White Bird: Russian Folk Tale" (Kaiseisha). In addition, he has received many awards, including the Sankei Children's Publishing Culture Award for Nippon Broadcasting.
He has lived in Prague, the Czech Republic since 2002.
Other picture books include folk tales transmitted to the Russian and Eastern European Slab regions, such as "Twelve Moon" (Kaiseisha), "Kaede no Leaf" (?. Many works that have been made into picture books.
