Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1976. Graduated from Nagoya Memorial University of the Arts Junior College.
After experience in touching children in school childcare, he becomes a picture book writer.
In 2008, he won the Japan Picture Book Award and the Kodansha Publishing Cultural Award for Picture Book Book Award for "I have come to me" (Motokai Tsukami/Bunkosha).
The main picture books are "Don't be a go -on" (Kusunokishige Nori/Saku Shogakukan), "I'm coming here soon" (Horapu Publishing), "Hori -Kori -Kyo Holly and Holele" (Agricultural Bunkyo), and "Puka Puka) ] "Mori no Ishin -kun" (above, Goblin Shobo), "Tangetaruta" (Rintaro Uchida/Liberation Publisher), "Yadokashi Real Estate" (Junya Hotaka/Kodansha), "Tenpakura and a strange man (Mai Mai Ogawa/Omita Omita), "Ushio" (Hirotaka Nakagawa/PHP Research Institute), "Pushu" (Kazuki 1/Iwasaki Shoten), "I'm not messed up! (Chihiro Ishizu/Sento Akane Shobo).
