Picture ● Suzuki Koji
Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1948.
After graduating from high school, he travels to the wind of the times while entering and leaving many art universities and Toyo University as a mogli student.
While drawing a picture while living in a tempura shop in Akasaka, Tokyo, he was found by art director Seiichi Horiuchi, and he began to play an active part in the "ordinary punch" magazine.
In 1971, he debuted as a picture book artist in Yukimusume (Kishida Kishida/Bun World Cultural Company later published by Billiken Publishing).
In addition to the main picture book, "Enso -kun Kisana Noru" (Gospels Bookstore), which won the Shogakukan Painting Award, "Salvirsa", "Yamano Desco", "Daisen World Creatures" (more than the Fictional Company). Many.
Received the Japan Picture Book Award for "Dome Garata" (Arthur Vinad/Tamagawa University Publishing Department).
The art book includes "Suzuki Koji's Great Magic Evolution" (Heibonsha) and "Heavenly Seder" (BL Publishing).
Not only publications, but their activities, including live painting, have an overwhelming charm, and in 2019 on the NHK E -Tele's art program "Sunday Museum of Art", "All of the picture book writers and painters that the picture talks about.
