The shades are expressed using pencil and charcoal, and the colors are beautifully expressed using watercolors. Enjoy the night with the depth of darkness and the brilliance of light.

Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1982. Graduated from Musashino Art University.
From 2007, he lived in Berlin, Germany for one year.
In 2009, he won the Nissan Fairy Tale and Picture Book Grand Prix Award for ``Taifu ga Kuru.'' After winning the award, the same work was published by BL Publishing, making his debut as a picture book author.
In 2012, he won the Japan Picture Book Award for ``Mori no Oku no Ochakai e'' (Kaiseisha). His book ``Yoronokaeri Michi'' (Kaiseisha) won the Bologna Ragazzi Award (award for excellence in the fiction category) at the Bologna International Children's Book Exhibition and the New York Times New York Public Library Picture Book Award.
Other works include “Piano Happy Kai” and “Whose Is This?” ”, “My Travels” (Bronze Shinsha), “Nohara no Oheya” (Poplar Publishing), and “Kaichu Dento” (Fukuinkan Shoten).
