Born in Tokyo in 1961.
Studied lithography under the painter Professor Dušan Kályi at the Department of Printmaking at the Platislava University of Fine Arts in Slovakia. After that, he created book illustrations, prints, and paintings, and worked on illustrations for picture books and children's literature.
In 1985, she made her picture book debut with the picture book ``Mekkiramokkiradondon'' (written by Setsuko Hasegawa, published by Fukuinkan Shoten). Other picture books include ``Chororin's Wonderful Sweater'' (Fukuinkan Shoten), ``Kodai na Kyodaina'', ``Okkyo-chan and Kappa'' (both written by Setsuko Hasegawa, Fukuinkan Shoten), and ``We are friends!'' Leeds (written by Rintaro Uchida, published by Kaiseisha), ``Isoppu no Ohanashi'' (written by Ryo Kisaka, published by Granmamasha), ``Namichika no Kinokogari'' (written by Doshinsha), and ``Osenbe Yake Takana'' (written by Yoko Koga, published by Doshinsha), among many others. Lives in Slovakia.
