Picture ● Kazuo Kawakami
Born in Hokkaido in 1959. Graduated from Hokkaido Designer Gakuin.
Independent after working for a design company. Active in magazines, book bindings, advertising.
In the picture book "Nagai Nagai Bone Journey" (Matsuda Matsuda/Bunkosha), he won the Japan Child's Award for the Japan Child in FY2018 and the Child Welfare Culture Award for FY2019.
Other picture books are "Sodate Play Bogo Apple Picture Books" (Yoshio Koike/Editioned Agricultural Association), "Kikito Play Place Kusaki Picture Book" (Kazuki Yamazaki/Editioned Agricultural Association), "Mountain Feast Acorn Tree" (Yunoki "(Yunoki There are Yoko/Bunbun Theory).
