MIKI HOUSE published its first book back in 1987.
We started making picture books that parents and children could enjoy together and that would appeal to children's sensibilities. The kinds of things that would help kids' dreams grow and that would make family life more fun.
Our original series of picture books with sound feature electronic animal voices and vehicle sounds that can be played at the touch of a button, making them popular with children. We look forward to continuing to produce books that promote parent-child communication and let young imaginations take flight.
Currently, we have published more than 100 collaborations between foreign and Japanese artists and authors, including a wide variety of famous fairy tales. Our aim is to promote parent-child communication while helping build young imaginations. And in order to better appeal to the needs of the youngest children, we've developed talking picture books, pop-up picture books, sticker books, bathtub books, and more.
We publish a variety of child-rearing books intended not only to help young parents raise their children, but to help their children's dreams come true.
